Get Your Strongest Letters of Recommendation for MFE Programs
Thursday, November 19, 2026 at 6:00 AM PST. Hosted by Fiona Taft.
A weak letter of recommendation can quietly hurt a strong profile, and with January deadlines close, your recommenders need time. In this free live session, Fiona Taft, former Executive Director of the UC Berkeley MFE program and Associate Director at Stanford, shows you how admissions committees read recommendation letters and how to choose the right people to write yours. You'll learn who to ask, when to ask, what to give them so the letter backs up the rest of your application, and how to follow up without nagging. Come with your list of possible recommenders and your questions; there's time for them live on Zoom.
